Where African gaming grows

KOTG is a Malawian gaming and esports company. We produce esports events, activate games for studios and brands, and host CyberExpoX. Along the way we train young people in the skills behind the screen, and grow the talent that will make Africa’s next games.

We led the formation of the Esports Association of Malawi, pushed for esports to be recognised as a sport, and have sent players to compete internationally.

Impact

Play that builds careers

We train young people in the skills behind esports, the same digital skills today’s jobs ask for. More than 10,000 young people reached so far, with doors open to girls and young women.

  • Tech skills: hardware, software, networks and online platforms
  • Media skills: casting, streaming, video editing and design
  • Work skills: teamwork, communication and problem-solving under pressure
